Nuestra apuesta es integradora: Ciencia de frontera con investigadores, universidades y centros de excelencia del mundo, generando nuevo conocimiento sobre biodiversidad, ecología, silvicultura y cambio climático. Pero también queremos que ese conocimiento tenga raíces en el territorio, diálogo con los saberes locales y impacto real en los hábitats que compartimos con otras especies.

Por eso articulamos ciencia académica y ciencia ciudadana, en un modelo que reconoce que no hay sostenibilidad sin conocimiento, y no hay conocimiento sin vínculo. Este enfoque nos permite trabajar con rigurosidad científica y con compromiso social, desarrollando conocimiento útil, ético y transformador que contribuya a formas regenerativas de coexistencia entre los seres humanos y sus hábitats.

Our approach is inclusive: cutting-edge science with researchers, universities, and centers of excellence around the world, generating new knowledge about biodiversity, ecology, forestry, and climate change. But we also want that knowledge to be rooted in the territory, in dialogue with local knowledge, and to have a real impact on the habitats we share with other species.

That is why we combine academic science and citizen science in a model that recognizes that there is no sustainability without knowledge, and no knowledge without connection. This approach allows us to work with scientific rigor and social commitment, developing useful, ethical, and transformative knowledge that contributes to regenerative forms of coexistence between humans and their habitats.
